Ask Rentals was founded by Kuljit Kaur, a former relocation agent who recognized a gap in the housing and leasing market. As a woman of color with roots in India, Kenya, and England, Kuljit built the company while raising two children and navigating life as an immigrant in a new country.

Her personal experiences shaped the mission of Ask Rentals—creating a more supportive, knowledgeable, and inclusive rental process for both housing providers and residents.
